Google Pixel @ NBA All-Star Weekend

Combining the magic of Pixel with the culture of basketball and homage paid to The Bay. From fun challenges at NBA Crossover to an immersive Pixel House and Players Lounge.

🏀 Pixel House: We hosted exclusive programming featuring #TeamPixel talent and industry partners like A'ja Wilson–celebrating the intersection of Bay Area culture, technology and basketball.

🏀 Pixel Perfect LeagueFits Cover Photos: We gave fans the opportunity to try out a Pixel and experience ASW-themed, AI-enabled Camera and Gemini Live features, including an exclusive chance to create a personalized SLAM LeagueFits magazine cover with a custom headline generated by Gemini Live.

🏀 NBA Crossover: Our Pixel Pro Shot Challenge dares fans to capture epic action shots while shooting hops and then turn them into personalized trading cards. Fun, right?

🏀Pixel Players Lounge: We curated a premium experience for players and industry leaders, featuring collaborations with YouTube creators, collaborations with agency partners like WME, and programming with The Female Quotient.

🏀 Community Impact: We teamed up with the NBA, Google.org, and People Ops to host educational programming, including intern orientations, tech activations, and career panels for HBCU interns and students. We’re empowering young people to lean into their passion by using great tech with these initiatives I couldn’t be prouder of.

🏀 Massive Reach: From OOH takeovers across SF to engaging media partnerships with TNT and SLAM, we made sure Pixel was unmissable.

🏀 Creator Collaborations: We launched limited edition Pixel 9-led collaborations with creators like Koolmac, showcasing the creative potential of our technology. I especially loved some of our bespoke fan experiences we led with partners including appearances from #TeamPixel partners Kelsey Plum and A’ja Wilson as well as event-led programming featuring Lethal Shooter and Chris Brickley.

This weekend was a testament to the power of integrating technology with culture and community, and I'm incredibly proud of what we accomplished.
